you seem to have trouble keeping with the rhythm of the song....and you seem like you're trying to make your voice sound like something it isn't...which is bad because it sounds like your voice is really good on its own!!...let your voice be its own because i bet it would be pretty impressive...and work on that rhythm a little bit...not bad

a trick for the rhythm is to talk and play at the same time then it'll get those hands moving independantly...i know what you're going through and believe me you sound better then i did back in the day, keep it up :)

You seemed to have some trouble with the rythym. Also, the vocals were erratic. This one is a hard one. I don't want to sound like a dick, but I think that you should practice on covering easier dave songs first before tackling 41. Anyhow, with some practice you'll get it.

i agree with the previous comments. keep you vocals natural, cause you have a good voice. i know the highs on #41 are tough, but i think it's okay to tone them down.

as for rythm, at times you change them. i dunno if this is on purpose, but the strumming changes quite a bit.

this song is actually one of the easier ones to sing and keep rythm, since it is one of the few i can actually sing and play somewhat. so just keep at it and you'll get it down before you know it.

Yeah, think we have a bad case of white boy rythym-itis...fear not my friend, there is hope even for the whitest of us all!

This is a tough song to sing because the temptation is to force it, singing in this song is almost an afterthought....like the lyrics are flowing from the music and the thoughts of dave...(bullshit? maybe, i'm aspiring art major so cut me some slack)

The worst part of the song was the "I wanted to STAYYY, I wanted to PLAYYY..." go easy on the falsettos, takes a lot of training or skill for those.

What could have been better was the rythym like was said before, it was noticably off several times.

The good was that your voice isn't horrible...untrained...but not horrible. I think everyone can see the potential here and that's why they are making comments. Keep working and listening to helpful hints that people are giving you!

yea...you're just having some rhythm trouble. and don't force the high notes...practice, you'll be alright. :D

Not bad at all , a different rhythm for sure , but differences makes good covers :) The high pitch in the voice at certain spots becomes unsecure , besides that , overall a good job :)

im sure I'll get a lot of flack for this, and i dont want to dash your hopes of someday super stardom, but that was very painful to listen to. The guitar rhythm was never right, the vocal rhythm was all over the place, and the notes sounded like you were singing the song for the first time. I don't mean to sound like a dick, I just want to be honest with you, which i hope people are when they critique my covers. I know I don't have much room to talk when it comes to covering songs but you've got a ways to go yet. Keep at it, play and sing along with the song as much as possible. I look forward to hearing progress from you. And Im pretty sure this is what Coop was talking about.

Peace
