Here, I mixed it down and you can still here it. I think you'll be able to know what Im talking about when you listen to it. There is a distinctive noise reduction in the pauses of the vocals even thought they are mixed together. http://www.sendspace.com/file/letr5w

Every time I try to sing louder at all, I go over the threshold and it comes out sounded terrible. How do you preset the threshold or what do you have to do to prevent this?

mine does the same thing and i have NO clue why. i think i've asked the question here like 4 times. still can't figure it out : (ut4ever8 wrote:Now that Im finally set up with my equipment I need to learn how to use CEP better. I figured that one out. If you're only recording with one mic you have to record in mono, then when you mix down the file, you mix it to a stereo file. To set to mono, go to options> Settings then on the right side it should say record type or something like that with those two options
