Easy songs that sound good live.

Unread post by Oahu » Mon Jan 12, 2004 9:54 am

Thinking of putting together a little live album. I keep playing the same songs on Open Mic. I need a few crowd pleasing tunes that are contemporary (no John Denver) and that can be picked up relatively quick.

Any suggestions?

Ha that is funny I was just looking at a tab for that over at the GuitarNoise forum. That would be a cool song to learn.

No. If I find time I'll try to do one up for ya, but don't hold your breath. Listen to the recording. It's easy to follow along. Good luck!

Some Third Eye Blind from their first album (ex. Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper, etc.)...people like those. Maybe something from Live (ex. I Alone, Selling the Drama) or Coldplay (ex. Sparks, Yellow). All are relatively easy -- just chords and whatever.
