Cover - Dreaming With a Broken Heart

Unread post by boy52 » Tue Oct 09, 2007 11:02 pm

Hi guys, whipped up another non-dave cover. O_o This doesnt really emphasize anything instrumentally.. it's just a simple cover that I felt appropriately doing at this particular point in time. Any critiques appreciated!

Thanks for listening as always.

nice cover. I haven't heard the original but I dig this. I'll probably keep this one in my iTunes. No real suggestions here either. Your voice is spot on, the guitar sounded solid, and you sang it like you meant it.
Good work

I used Cool Edit Pro v.2. I have an AKG condensor mic hooked up to a Line 6 preamp which is then hooked up to the comp. Stupid question, but what's a pop filter? I'll take a shot.. I'm assuming that the definition is in the label, hahah.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Wow, sounds great man...perfect actually. Great mix, great voice, great playing.

What AKG are you using?

A pop filter is that mesh thing you put between the mic and yourself to get rid of plosives, sounds that make the microphone peak due to a sudden burst of air.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
