open mic nite recording - where are you going>brick

first live performance ever done.. decided to finally go to an open mic nite the other nite.. just a recording done through my mac book pro... please comment and critique. Thanks.

Guitar sounds pretty solid...I'm guessing this was an electric? Vocals are a little hard to hear but you did pretty good job. The only thing I would suggest is to try and open up your voice a little more when you sing louder and higher - it gets sounding a bit "closed" if you know what I mean - maybe singing too much through your nose. But I really don't know much about singing, so take it or leave it. Congrats on your first open mic! It gets easier and more natural the more you perform so keep at it.
