Hey guys - I need video editing software that will allow me to splice two videos together. I have windows movie maker, but from what I can tell it won't let me do what I want.
I simply want to be able to be able to cover a song acoustically then add a clip of me doing an electric guitar solo over it.
What *easy to use* and FREE editing software should I look to use for this purpose?
Thanks
Need video editing software
don't know anything about free. i have adobe premier pro and it works amazingly. i'm 99% sure that movie maker will allow you to do what you want though. you just have to upload both of the videos, cut the parts you want, and put the two parts you want together. i don't use movie maker since i have adobe but again, i'm 99% sure you can do it. the only other thing i could think of is i'll be home next week, if you need me to paste the videos together for you i could.

How much did adobe premier cost you? I'm looking into getting it as well, but can't find it anywhere for less than $400. Does that sound about right?Appfro wrote:don't know anything about free. i have adobe premier pro and it works amazingly. i'm 99% sure that movie maker will allow you to do what you want though. you just have to upload both of the videos, cut the parts you want, and put the two parts you want together. i don't use movie maker since i have adobe but again, i'm 99% sure you can do it. the only other thing i could think of is i'll be home next week, if you need me to paste the videos together for you i could.
