so can one person play a chord progression using normal chords ( no capo ) in the key of c and one person capo the 8 and play on the e min position scale in the key of c and jam together?

Make sure your playing in a minor or blues tonality and not major. I don't know anything about the harmonica so I can't help you too much.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

thats because the C pentatonic you are playing at the 8th fret is minor. your harmonica is tuned to C major

i've played a few, all i can tell you is that a single harmonica only fits in one key

unless it's a chromatic harmonica. there this band round here called "clayton miller blues band" and they play free shows and festivals here all the time and there is a kid in the band with a harmonica belt with all 12 keys there and a chromatic when he wants to get fancy. and he's only 9. he was one americas kid idol or whatever that show was.

in my opinion they are a waste. way too hard to play and not really at all better. if a song changes keys, just swap harps. but yes sir, FJ, they are monsters.
