I am going to get pedals and a electric guitar synthesizer. You guys got any suggestion on how I should do this?

that is impossible unless you have an acoustic electric. then you will need the following:
modulation-(not required) an effect like phaser/flanger, depending on how much gain and what sound you wish to produce.
amp modeling- you can select any amp. for your purposes, i would recomend a classic distortion with the drive and equilizer turned all the way up.
a silencer- if you use a phaser with too much gain, you will get feedback. you need a silencer for this.
an expression pedal- used mainly as a volume pedal. if you switch from a clean to a dist, you will get an increased volume so rock the pedal back to keep in the volume range you were previously...it is also good for when you bust into a solo.
that is it, you would be better off getting a pedal like a digiteck one...the rp200 will do fine for you and it is only 99 bucks

hey beauford heres what i do....i have a chetesque guitar, its so shitty that its not listed under epiphone, its a chet atkins signiture but it has a soundhole but its still thinbody. owever to get an electric effect i plug it into an electric amp.....however i plug it into my boss 1180 recording system with all the effects on there...it has an electric guitar simulater and it has liek 100 models so you just find the one you liek and it doesnt matter what guitar your using, i just use my shit one cause if it fucks it up then no big deal, also it feels and plays liek an electric so its no big deal...and to switch back to acoustic....all i have to do is use a footswitch that controls my effects and if i turned all the effects off then i would have my natural acoutic sound so if you really want to do something liek that look into a guitar processor or a recording station with virtual effects and if you buy any of that then email me later on and i will give you full detail on how to do it...hope that helps...peace

WEl.. you could go to guitar center and get a line6 variax. the 500 series (which is way ugly imo, but very verasatile) is only 500 bucks instead of the normal price of $1200 till the end of this month. The variax models a bunch of electric guitars and some acoustics too. So... between that and an amp you'd be set. The only thing you'd have to do to switch guitars, is turn a nob. 500 buck isn't bad either if you were lookign at buying an electric guitar anyways... just an idea.
