So how many of you love his music as much as you love Dave (or, almost as much)? Just wonderin what you all thought of him,

I see you got it in the Forum this time, ;-). I personally haven't heard any of his stuff, but I have a friend that swears by his music, so I think I might have to listen to his stuff :-)

I like him.

He's stuff can get pretty old, and quick. After a while it all sounds the same...

BUT

he;s a mellow mofo, real nice to just sit back and relax too..

I really like his stuff, some of his music can be pretty simple and repitive, but i really like the lyrics and just the cool feeling in his music-

Yeah I like Jack Johnson alot but for me he is not on the same leve as Dave. DMB is like the only band I have been able to listen to non-stop and not get tired of them.

I listened to him for about a week but it just doesn't hold my attention. He and Ben Harper have the same problem: too many of their songs sound too similar. BH is far better in every way imo. I do still listen to Rodeo Clowns from time to time though.

Yeah Rodeo Clowns is a bad ass song. My favorite JJ song by far.
