Ottmar Liebert

Anyone here like Ottmar Liebert? I think hes a superb flamenco guitarist, if you guys havent heard of him, check him out sometime, Barcelona Nights is a great song, so is Ballad 4 Santana.

Ottmar Liebert is the best
i have several of his CDs, and yes Barcelona Nights is so good, so fun to play too, not too hard at all, just a lot of memorization. i'm glad someone else has heard of him, no one at school knows who the hell he is

That's awesome, I was going to start a thread about him sometime.
Barcelona Nights is awesome (and fun to play :D), as well as a lot of the songs from Nouveau Flamenco...

Also, Euphoria is a REALLY awesome cd...you can just get lost in it.

Finally some people have heard of him.Usually I mention his name and everyone is all like "wtf are u talking about?...Who the hell is that??" Hes a great guitarist and I missed him when he came to Tucson. I found out about it a month later and was pretty pissed I didnt know about it earlier. But ya Barcelona Nights is a blast to play.

Ottmar Liebert is good, but if you guys want to get into Flamenco you have to check out Paco De Lucia or Vicente Amigo...Those guys will blow you away, and will blow ottmar away as well

I know I saw paco in Lebanon In baalbak which is an old roman tample they have music festivals their every summer the guy is crazy I loved him I'm gonna check out that ottmar guy. by the way any recomendation on CDS to get for these guys thanks

Has anyone seen that one infomercial on late at night with some spanish guitar guy trying to sell his cheap ass guitar. He seems to be pretty good as well. I can't remember his name.

Hahaha, Ive seen that infomercial, but i dont remember who it was...A good Ottmar Libert cd is Nouveau Flamenco.
