Note: I use the term "measure" generously
I finger pick the song cuz it is easier for me to do it that way. But I play it out of a G (320033), Cadd9 (x32033), Dsus4 (xx0233) for the intro, and the verse I play (all full chords listed above) G for 2 measures, Cadd9 for 1 measure, and a D (xx0232) for 1 measure. I loop that until I get to the bridge.
Then I play an Em (022000) to G to Cadd9 to D (all one measure).
For the chorus, Em/G/Em/G/Cadd9/D (kinda off, but I can't quite get it. It works too if you take out the 2nd G and head rite from Em to Cadd9).
Now for the Intro picking, not too difficult, easier done with fingers than a pick...
Play the intro for the outro, and end by strumming thru a G. I wish that I could tell you the strumming pattern but that usually messes a person up, and I have no verbal way of communicating that you. Furthermore, if you do have any questions, IM me or PM me. That is as close to as right as I can provide.
peace

Thanks, and yeah, I really don't like it that much (way over played). It is an acoustic song that a lot of ppl know so I learned it. Women I find like it a lot, and I don't know why, but whatever.Coldchillin23222 wrote:Good work...I don't like that song a whole lot though...

Whenever I hear this, I think of the last Seinfeld episode. I should not be remembering the ending of the greatest comedy in the history of television by such a mediocre song.
I am fully convinced that they wrote this song with EXACTLY the intentions of having it played at graduations, etc.
Not one of my favorites, either.

I agree with that. They said once that they never expected it to be played at proms and whatnot cause they didn't even go to their own. That's a bunch of B.S. They wrote it for proms...infoghost wrote:Whenever I hear this, I think of the last Seinfeld episode. checkii wrote:It's cool to hate on Chosta, I get it. But the prejudice that people take into his posts makes people so stupid it's hilarious to read. I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
