Radiohead

Unread post by dmfollower » Thu Nov 20, 2003 4:47 pm

Anyone else love Radiohead? Granted they are an extremely depressing band, but i kind of like being depressed sometimes.
I love "Fake Plastic Trees", "Been Thinking About You", "Bulletproof", "High and Dry", etc.

No not really. Their music is kind of weird. There was one single song that I really liked but that's it. I think it's called creep or something

I've only heard the acoustic version so far. yeah this one's good. But the rest of their stuff sounds weird to me. I don't like their style particularly.

OK Computer is an album everyone should have, almost every song is awesome. Their newest album Hail to the Thief is also very good (check out 2+2=5 and There There). Creep was their mainstream "hit" but in my opinion there songwriting is far superior on the albums I mentioned.

I hate Creep. IMO it was the worst song they ever wrote. The lyrics are terirble.

Also IMO Kid A was way better then OK Computer. Granted OK Computer was very good, I still think Kid A was much better.

Radiohead is great though. Find some of their life stuff, that's the good stuff.

nDMB? ;) anyway, it's been brought up a lot before every now and then, and usually radiohead mentions are cut dry. radiohead is definitely an acquired taste, though, as it's been said time and time again. first time i heard them i hated them, but i gave them a second chance because my girlfriend dug them. they kick. HTTT is great...listening to it a lot because i've been burnt out on the old stuff.

Weird or not, they are doing something right... they have one of the largest international fan bases, it truely is amazing how universal there music is...weird and all.

I love radiohead...awesome band, who surely knows how to experiment and rock the hell out. Seeing Johnny mess around with that little box gizmo is priceless.

Radiohead owns!

street spirit is wicked, i might be wrong, true love waits, idiotech or what ever the fu<k ya call it. and that one "just because you feel it doesn't mean its there " song. Radiohead kicks so much a$$. so ground breaking and original.
