Hello World!

Unread post by SgtM » Sat Oct 25, 2003 12:05 am

Hey all.. Another newbie to pick on. Ok, I've been around here a few weeks, but just finally decided to start posting.. Anyway, I was looking at the tab for The Eagles - Love Will Keep Us Alive.. says something about Stanza Chords. I'm relatively new to guitar, less than a year, but I've been around music a while, but am VERY rusty. So, can someone shed some light on this for me? BTW - GREAT SITE!

Welcome, and we don't "pick on" newbies. We accept them (unless they are here to just cause trouble and hate). I don't know much about the technicle aspects, just on how to play, and have a good ear. Now, would you please welcome my friend

I dont mind picking on a newbie a little. Let me know if you ever feel too confident.

I'm not picking, I just don't get why newbies feel the need to make threads to introduce themselves...it just confuses me bigtime...

Yeah, because all of your threads serve a direct purpose and are time well spent.

Yeah, here you go man:

Artist : Eagles
Album : Hell Freezes Over

Intro: A-F#m-D-E-A

A
I was standing
F#m
All alone against the world outside
D
You were searching
E
For a place to hide
A
Lost and lonely
F#m
Now you given me the will to survive
D E A
When we're hungry... love will keep us alive

(Do Stanza Chords A-F#m-D-E-A)
Don't you worry
Sometimes you've just gotta let it ride
The world is changing
Right before your eyes
Now I've found you
There's no more emptiness inside
When we're hungry... love will keep us alive
