2000 dollar Taylors

Unread post by i-am-me » Sat Oct 11, 2003 11:22 pm

What's the best deal for a taylor thats roughly 2,000 dollars. a little more a little less is okay.

By the way...if anyone noticed the thread about something wrong with me in the nDMB discussion, this is a "just in case" thread.

Well, discuss! hehe Best taylor for around 2,000 bucks.

I have played a big baby, 110, 312, 412, 512, 612, and an 812 Taylor (none of which I owned). The 612 was a custom made, and it was the best sounding guitar I have ever heard. It was also the biggest Jumbo I have ever seen too other than Gibson's Hollow body electrics. That one ran about $2200. The only reason it was really that high was due to the fact it was a flamed maple custom, and it was in the Geetar Center in Cherry Hill, NJ (where everything is overpriced by $300, even toothpaste).
The 812 ($2300) was awesome too, hehe.

peace
I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.

the best $2000 guitars are probably the LTD's. had i had $2100 i wouldve bought the 714ces SPEC which was more like a 914ces but for the price of a 700 series guitar.

thats about what ive seen for a regular 700 series guitar. probably a little less though. maybe by a hundred or 2.

it woulda been worth it though. man how it woulda been worth it *gets hopeful glares in his eyes as he remembers when he first saw that beautiful guitar*

yeah, i can tell ya, isaac is in love with his 414 LTD. basically its an 814 for the price of a 414. the only real difference are the aesthetics. so if you feel bad about your dad buying you a $2000 guitar, then maybe a $1500 guitar would be a little bit better.
