totally! they kick ass. they had an mtv concert the other day while i was sick, and it blew me away. such great energy. i heard about 'em a couple months before they started opening for dave from a friend, been following them ever since. robert randolph is amazing.

They opend for dmb at alpine, it was great! The bassit has such a high voice, it's odd, but good. And that slide guitar, nice very nice.

they were supposed to open for DMB at the cancelled MSG shows in 2002. since the band called off the shows, Robert Randolph and his band played at the Knitting Factory until almost 3 am that night. it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to period.

a little shady though because the bass player opened a bottle of hennessy, took a sip, and started passing it around to the audience...

at the sprite remix tour they were rocking they covered voodoo child they were pretty awsome... OAR was better that night though :lol:

definitely. i wish the crowd was more alive though, like on their Live at the Wetlands stuff.
