lyricist needed

ok, after reviewing my lyrics, ive pretty much decided.....they suck. i wear my heart on my sleeve, i can't hide or disguise anything, and it's all sappy. so what im wondering, is there anyone out there that can write lyrics....(poems w/ rhythm....rhyming structure not necessarily needed) that has trouble or can't write music to their stuff. if you are a good lyricist and you can write music then you are not who im looking for. i need someone that is having troubles writing the music aspect. i WILL give all credit to the writer for their lyrics, i just konw that i can't write, my stuff sucks donkey balls (Isaac can attribute to this) so i need some help in the lyrics area.

if someone has been in my situation and saw something that helped them write better lyrics...also let me know, cause i mean damn. i need some help. anyway, thanks

you should join a band.. then you can leave that up to the lead singer

Hey, App. I'm not a huge fan of writing lyrics for other people's songs unless I had an integral part in coming up with the music since I feel that the music and lyrics should be interlocking, and if I don't help create the music, I'm not going to know exactly what is trying to be expressed. That being said, I'd be more than happy to help you refine what lyrics you have. I do think that I do a good job of writing. If you want an example, pm me and I can send you some stuff. Not only do I think I'm a good writer, I also feel I'm a pretty good editor (wow I sound like an egotistical prick). So yeah, if you're up for some of that, send some stuff my way, and I'll see where I can help. I can't promise loads of time, but I'll do what I can.
