COOLNESS

So I had an English project and I chose to write a song. I brought in my guitar and performed it today and everyone loved it. XD Anyway we had free time at the end so they asked me to play more stuff...it was reaaaally cool. I treated them to a sweaty hands version of Grey Street, Just Like Heaven, and an original.
just wanted to share.

eh. it happened once, but then some guy asked to sing and the girls fell in love with him. luckily i have the satisfaction of knowing that he's a jerk (not because of that certain incident) but oh well. his singing reaffirmed how much it when people use vibrato excusively.

Cool Sarah. I went to class and sat through 4 straight hours of econ. Your day sounds slightly more interesting.

Hey Josh, did you sing? Or just play?

I had a project that I had to read a book, and choose one of the many ways to do a project on it. I grabbed at the last minute Catcher In the Rye(since I waited too long to get the book I wanted, and someone else took it). One of the choices was to pick 4 songs that a character in the book would relate to or would listen too. For the main character in the book, and choose BEF, Bartender, God (by john lennon), and I decided to write a tune Weight of Praying . The song name came from two lines I put in for the chorus, it goes like this

Lay me down
Leave me praying, the
Weight of the world
Keeps the pain in

I was thinking of those two version of early DDTW, and it fit very well with the song and the chracter.

Well, I was going to play two of the songs to the class. So I performed Bartender, and people didn't seem to feel it. Then I was going to do Weight of Praying, and everyone left, since right after I started, the lunch bell rang. They all left in just a few seconds, not caring. Bummed me out.

So, Sarah, now I envy you for that project, and your hair!

anyways, I want to hear it, record it damn it, lol.
Yes, I am in a box

Same here. We had to do demonstration speechs about anything. So I did "how to tune a guitar" then I played parts of What would you say, Warhouse, and So Much to say. It was cool.

And just this past week, I helped my bro, who is in a sociology class, do a song about hunting and gathering. That was cool too.
