easy solo's...

Yeah i know it probably gets asked all the time, but I want to start learning some solo for some songs. Hopefully for something on acoustic, but whatever; just some really cool stuff for a sort of beginner. Just trying to get faster with my fingers without having to keep doing those boring 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-4 finger excersises all up and down the fretboard.

my first solo...and pretty much the only solo ive ever sat down and memorized was the one from I'll Back You Up. It's so easy, but it sounds really cool.

EDIT: otherwise, i would definetly stay away from dave music for acoustic solos. cause he doesn't do any and Tim's aren't what i would call beginner :D

What I got by Sublime

You can utilize many different techniques in that solo - slides, chords, bends, and mutes.

i guess i'm looking for something a bit harder and longer. I can play the riff (not hard by any means, but maybe an indication of what i can do...) bela plays in #41 on guitar at the same speed and it sounds pretty good. So maybe something a little longer, or just a cool solo thats a little harder from what has been posted so far. By the way, thanks for the song recommendations!

just learned tim's solo. pretty easy, but so beautiful :)
