I like it, yup, it's got some pop, but it's got plenty of rock and it does absolutely that live...it just rips! such a great live song and the lyrics while sounding kinda goofy are pretty cool when you really look at them. but seriously, when I first heard that song live it was just awesome...really began to rejuvenate my faith in mayer.

I never doubted his talent, but last summer wasn't too good for him...I think he was a little lost in the success, but he's come out alright I think...TaylorsBaby225 wrote:when was your faith lost in mayer? he still in my mind is one the most talented guitarists and songwriters ever!

mayer's energy is pretty good. i had a pretty shitty time though, just because of the people itself. i couldn't go to his first concert here though...only like, 100 people went and it was 18+, so that sucked.
next time he came around it was general admittance...so make sure you go to a show with seats.
i got "3rd row" but girls were pushing me and screaming into my ear, eventually pushed me back 3 rows. then these 2 girls were claiming they were moving through the crowd to get to the restrooms, but that wasn't true. they decided to stop in front of me to enjoy "pissing" me off. they both had huge hair, and were terrible dancers. thus, they slapped me in the face a bazillion of times. i yelled at them and they gave me a look like "what's your problem?"
yeah. it was a bad time. but a great show anyway! lol. sexton opened the show and that was great, then guster which was fun, and then mayer. closed with comfortable and a great neon jam.
so all in all, as long as it's not general admittance and you get decent seats, mayer's good to see at least once.
