Stopped by guitar center....

Unread post by i-am-me » Mon Aug 25, 2003 3:10 am

I finally got around to testing all the guitars i've wanted to.

First off, i am definetly a fan of the taylors over the martins.

Secondly, I like elixirs strings now. haha. They're just more comfortable. Even with my callouses....

Also, i played a twelve string for the first time today. I played grey street and big eyed fish. It sounded so great compared to the six. I kinda don't get it though. Is the second string in each pair an octave of the first? What ever it is it sounds great. haha

I have so much fun in that place. Just walking around, playing everything i see. I walked into the acoutic section with some of the more classical guitars and heard this guy playing signe by clapton. I grabbed a guitar and starting playing along and then we started up tears in heaven, then layla, but then i had to stop and listen cause that's all the clapton i know. It was so much fun.

The guitar center is the best environment ever. agreed? disagreed?

LOL that we do. but I think the guys at sam ash like you for that, considering a lot of them are still teens at heart.

Hehe. Honestly, I love going to the guitar center. All the people there are great. And you can get great deals on everything.

Yeah Shane I know that Sam Ash! It blows chunks! I work like 2 minutes from it but I always hate going to it.

You should check out the new Guitar Center next to where Mars used to be over in Tampa! They have Taylors in there.

sam ash must be an east coast thing, I've never even seen one out here in California............ so I am going to have to say that buffalo bros is the sickest guitar store I have ever been too, in case any of you have heard of it, followed by guitar center.
