Help for solo in Neon

On the last call version of Neon by John Mayer, does anyboody have the tabs for the solo he does where he slaps his hand on the guitar and play a litle solo

he's basically just messin around in Cm, not really worth tabbin it out...

i just told you what he chord he was using, why don't you just try to figure it out by watching and listening? you'll never get better by depending on other's work, and it will be more fufilling if you figure it out yourself :wink:

okay are you playing it in drop-C or in standard tuning?

okay basically stay in this shape...

E: X
B: 8
G: 8
D: 8
A: X
E: 0

work on different strum patterns that focus on slapping that open C string. you can kinda mess around hammering on the 10th fret on the g, d, and a strings, just keep your index finger holding down those three strings. also try a few quick slide ups from the 7th fret up to the 9th fret holding that shape. hope this helps, but next time don't expect me to take so much pity on you :P
