Official Best nDMB Acoustic Songs Thread (with tab)!!!

Unread post by Roastbeef » Tue Jul 29, 2003 9:39 am

This has probably been done before, but perhaps not in this way. Let's use this thread to post links to tab for what you would consider the top three must-learn nDMB acoustic songs. Here are the rules:
  • Recommend three (and only 3) songs (include artist and song title)
  • No DMB songs
  • Do not suggest a song already recommended
  • Include a link to the best tab you've found for the song
I'll start:

Stone Temple Pilots - Plush
http://www.guitaretab.com/s/stone-templ ... /18515.htm

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
http://www.guitaretab.com/p/pink-floyd/24043.htm

Guns 'n Roses - Patience
http://www.guitaretab.com/g/guns-n-roses/21932.htm

This thread will perhaps make it easy for others to expand beyond just playing Dave Matthews.

if you're feeling adventurous, and want to expand into some alternate tunings, i highly recommend learning some acoustic tea party. these songs got me addicted to alternate tunings and essentially opened a previously closed door.

these songs are tricky, so if you're not currently feeling challenged, it's great fun  great fun

Hmm... I'll have to try that one. I also like Don't Follow - http://www.guitaretab.com/a/alice-in-chains/357.htm

It kind of has a Patience-like jam at the end which is cool.

Come on people - let's get this thread going again!!! 8)
