Hey is anyone here at playing Slap Acoustic Guitar? I've seen some videos on Youtube and I'd really like to talk to someone who's good at it and pick up some tips.
Thanks! ~ Aquzenn

I dabble in this a bit, and have started incoporating it more into my playing because it is fun, honestly...
A good song to practice this because of the slower tempo is More Than Words by Extreme. I think it's a good song to start to learn the technique because it's a relatively easy song in general and like i said with the slower tempo you can practice the slapping easier, as opposed to a faster song.
edit: technically i guess what they are doing in that song isn't slapping, but a sort of muting/slapping technique, but i still think you could practice it that way

More Than Words. Love playing that kinda style. The Upper Hand by Ari Hest is another example of that. Not really slapping, but kind of a slap-mute-fingerpicking thing.
