Pentatonic progression and lead
I was wondering, what chords would you play during a lead that is based around the pentatonic scale. in other words, what chords are played for a pentatonic scale?

Re: Pentatonic progression and lead
The answer to that question can depend on a lot of things, but I'll name some that pop to my head...
Imin IVmin V7 Imin
(use Em, Am, B7, Em with the Em minor pentatonic scale.)
Imin III IVmin V7
(Em, G, Am, B7)
what you are going to end up noticing is that the minor pentatonic works well for lines that sound bluesy, so it will lend itself nicely to be used over those kinds of chords, think I, IV, V, a lot of dominant seventh chords...
