yeah this is a cool site, but it might be beyond some folks.

the sight had good accurate information, but it was represented in a complex way.

whenever i try to teach my students chord theory, i teach them the most basic and essential things (first major scale intervals, chord formulas, and then diatonic harmony).

im not hatin' on the site, but in my experience, theory is best taught by an actual teacher, it's tough to learn on one's own.

yeah this is true. anyway, i wish it wasnt hard to learn theory lol. im just so lazy. whats fun about theory? nothing. playing is fun. theory is not.

theory adds to the enjoyment, as you begin to understand...but I think it is secondary...a good ear and a passion for music is the first order... :wink:
