I have been playing guitar for 2 or so years. After starting on my 'crappy' guitar to make sure I wouldn't get sick of it (Sigma Martin), I decided for a good purchase. After much searching I decided on an Ovation Legend. I loved it, until now. In practicing, I never stand up. Now that I'm ready to play in public a bit, when I stand up with the strap on, the guitar is constantly sliding because of the angled back. It is a medium body guitar (not as big as some, but still quite chunky). I find that I have to have the strap so tight that the guitar is almost at my upper chest to be able to have control. Has anyone experienced the same problem, and if so, how should I deal with it? It's hard to play when the guitar is suddenly facing upwards because it is sliding out from me. Thanks so much.

I don't think anyone can help you except to say that, for what you paid, you shouldn't have bought an Ovation.
