Raised B Tuning

Unread post by petevii » Fri Dec 29, 2006 2:03 pm

i dont know what the fuck im doing wrong. but whenever i try tuning my guitar to raised b tuning (B-E-A-D-F#-B) it sounds like complete dog shit. i have a guitar with a built in tuner and i also use a second tuner and it says the strings are in tuned correctly, but then i try to play stay or leave or oh and its terrible. some strings sound so loose so i get that buzzing noise. is there a trick to tuning it or am i missing something or something?? any tips?? :x

I think that you have to get different strings...
