Black

Unread post by Taylor2885 » Mon Dec 11, 2006 4:45 pm

I know this kind of a no-no, and there might be a better place for this, but I didn't get a response in the various artists tab sites sticky. So don't go too nuts on me, but I really want to know this ...

does anybody have a good tab for the intro the way that Aaron Lewis plays "Black" by Pearl Jam. I can play the rest of the song, but at the beginning he plays something different before he goes into "Sheets of empty canvas."

If you go to YouTube and search Aaron Lewis Black it comes right up as the first one and you can see how he's playing it, I just can't see where his fingers are. But that video might help.

Anybody who knows, their help would be much appreciated.

From what I remember about the song, it's tuned down a half step and it's really simple.

Try this site.

i would suggest just playing the pearl jam version of the intro. I know its not what you want but I personally think it sounds better

Thanks guys, yeh the song is really simple chords. I have the whole song down except for the intro, I just didn't know if anybody knew what aaron lewis was playing.

And yeh, i'm not a big staind fan, but I really like how lewis does this song, I like it better than pearl jam's version, actually.

But thanks for the help.

Hey, one man's trash ...

That may not be the best metaphor, but you get my point. Still, thanks again for the sites to help me out.
