Wonderwall the way Ryan Adams does it on Love is Hell is bad ass and i think its easier on the voice and sounds good acoustically.

Also, Try a Ray Lamontagne song like Jolene or All the Wild Horses. He also has one thats unreleased called something to the effect of "All my heroes have gone to heaven" its a tearjerker and a good mood peace.

Don't do hey ya, I really hate when people play super popular songs on an acoustic guitar, i think its a cheap and safe play, be bold! You have the talent.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

ok... thanks for the comments.

i do want to have a more original set, but i want to have a safe one or two in there that people know for sure, im gonna do a more upbeat wonderwall and i am gonna do hey ya, because i dont think very many people have heard that on acoustic.

i like the ray lamontagne suggestion, im gonna check out some of the tabs and find one that likes my voice

also i was thinking of doing david grays version of smile like you mean it - any thoughts?

and my version of 3am is slower Mitch
