songs every one knows

Unread post by proudestmonkey41 » Tue Nov 14, 2006 4:09 pm

ive noticed latley that with the exception of a few random tunes here and there just about all i play is dave matthews band stuff. i think the reason its easier for me to learn these songs is because i know them so well from listening to them so much. im looking for some songs that are good to play at parties, songs that just about everybody knows and can sing along too. preferably easy ones! haha

so far the songs that i know how to play that are good for singalongs are
Flake - Jack Johnson
Save Tonight - Eagle Eye Cherry
Wonderwall - Oasis
Bad Moon Rising - CCR
and im working on Betterman by Pearl Jam.

any songs you guys think are real easy to learn that alot of people know?

Do NOT play Creed. If you do, I will find you and break your guitar over your throat.

Yes, they're that bad.

I've also had good luck with hey jude as a show closer. Everyone likes to sing along with the end.
I love to open the song by saying, "This is the first song I ever wrote".

Meh, you can get laid by just playing a song with the right feeling and atmosphere. She doesn't need to know what it is for it to work.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.
