Hey everybody
As part of my school's community service crap, one of my classes is going to a nursing home type deal. One girl is bringing cards to do tricks, another girl is reading to the old folks....stuff like that. My professor asked if anyone played anything musically. So of course i said "yeah...i do." and she told me that i needed to play songs for the folks on thursday....
What should i play?
HELP.

My friend wrote and recorded a CD called "Assisted Living". His legs are fucked up and he has to walk with arm crutches. He's very sarcastic.
Do some Simon & Garfunkel or something.

Beatles- Yesterday
Elton John- Your Song
Simon & Garfunkel- The Boxer
There's a few to get you started. Think mellow and positive, romantic, or popular back in the day.

Well, assuming a resident of an assisted living home would be probably be around the age of 70. Maybe younger, maybe mouch older. So when they were a young teen it would have been most likely in the late 50's early 60's. Search for songs on e-chords that are those decades.
