Unread post by Taylor614 » Fri Sep 01, 2006 5:56 pm

I'm looking for a version of Neon in standard tuning. I can play the Drop C version and was just looking for an alternate version that I can use when I'm not in Drop C. Thanks for the help.
My guitars:
Taylor 714
Taylor 614ce
Martin Sigma DR-41
Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (Ebony)
Danelectro 56-U2 reissue
Fender American Deluxe Strat
Fender Aerodyne Telecaster
BC Rich Eagle Custom

This isn't supposed to sound like a jerk move, but just play it in drop C. Tuning it down takes three seconds and you need that low bass in the song.

Thanks for the links, but those are actually what I used to learn the song originally. I was looking for a way to play it in standard tuning. Thanks again.

i dono i think maybe cuz i have small hands... when the thumb is on 5 and 10, to reach the 3 and 7 (with pointer finger i guess) my thumb wants to fall back a fret... i don't usually have a problem with most stretches even though i do have small hands, but i guess i'll just have to keep workin at this one i dono

try putting your pointer and middle fingers first, then ring one and thumb...when u'll get the position well play it a lil faster
