I got the new ben harper cd today, great stuff. I was looking for a tab for morning yearning and couldnt find a good one so decided to figure it out. I found a video of him playing it on a radio station, he was tuned down half a step on the vidoe but it works the same way in standard... Here's what I got, I'm preatty sure it's dead on what he played on the radio show and it sounds like the cd... I'll post the chords, it's not that hard to figure out the picking pattern.
Morning Yearning
DADGBE (Drop D)
707550
5X503X
05056X
3X301X --> You pull off the first fret on the B string to 3X300X then go to 3X3200 and then go back to the 3X301X. Listen to that part a couple of times and you will get it, it's not hard to hear what he's doing once you have the chords in front of you.
They do a little thing towards the middle/end that I have not messed with yet, it might be the same guitar wise and the bass is just doing something a little differnt, but that's the song.

well you're close. you have the right idea, right chords, but not perfect. i fucked with it for a long time til i finally got it, and i'm almost positive its perfect.
the first thing is you keep the G string open on every chord except the F. and you only pick on four of the strings (the ones i'll tab out)
so the chords look like this:
7x705x
5x505x
0x706x
3x321x
so those are the chords he plays with. mess around with that. you have the right idea for the F chord, you just pull off from the B then hammer on the G and B. listen to it.
the rest i figured out, but forgot. i'd have to go back and listen a few more times. tell me if you want it.
