what to play on new electric
So, I just got a Les Paul Studio and it is my first electric. I've been playing acoustic for a few years and my repetoire doesn't work on an LP like it does on my Martin. Can you guys recommend some good fun tunes to help me get some electric technique down? So far I've played all the Zeppelin I can and some Coldplay and a few various other things. I absolutely am in love with this guitar by the way.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!! The second best band in history. Freedom or Killing in the Name....so awesome to jam to on an electric.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

the final jam on Bullet in the Head is sweet, and the main riff of Know Your Enemy is awesome. Hell, it all is Fuckin SweetassDreaminBassMunky wrote:rage rocks my socks man. I didn't really dig the limited colors, although that pewter finish is baddass. Mine is a fireburst. http://www.gibson.com/products/gibson/l ... pst_fi.jpgJay wrote:oo what's the LP studio look like? is it one of the limited color ones? i almost bought one in january, but i was lacking enough money
Thanks for all the responses and keep them coming. Especially specific songs.
