awesome. that's the kind of thing I could watch/listen to all day.

Anybody know what song that is? I think I figured out the basic idea.

finally deciphered enough of the words to find lyrics. what a fucking awesome song.

Jose Gonzalez: Heartbeats
One night to be confused
One night to speed up truth
We had a promise made
Four hands and then away
Both under influence we had divine scent
To know what to say
Mind is a razorblade
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me
One night of magic rush
The start: a simple touch
One night to push and scream
And then relief
Ten days of perfect tunes
The colours red and blue
We had a promise made
We were in love
And you, you knew the hand of a devil
And you kept us awake with wolves teeth
Sharing different heartbeats in one night

Yep it's a great song, and a fantastic CD. This song is actually a cover.

d--------------0h1-0h1-------0h1-0h1--------0h1-0h1---

*very* basic, but that's enough for you guys to get the idea. there's tons of nuances that would take a long time to tab out, and.....yeah.

EDIT: just found a live video of him playing it on that ad site, but it's not loading for me...

awesome, I'll be in Oklahoma for college next year, but we should hang out and jam sometime. UD is a sweet school.

I just watched the live video of him, and he has a capo on the first fret, and I'm almost positive the guitar is in a different tuning.

awesome commercial, it seems like they'd have to do that with computers because what city is gonna let someone dump millions of bouncy balls down its street and fuck up cars and leave a mess everywhere and what not, but it looked real. You think it was real or not?

Set to the stripped-down acoustic soundtrack of José González' "Heartbeats", 250,000 'superballs' come flying, in slow motion, over the brow of a typical street in San Francisco, raining down on anything that gets in their way. And it was done without computer graphics.

I thought the fropg was the worste part of it because everythign else was just filmed how it naturally would have been (the kid peaking aroudn the wall, the woman looking out her window, the dog was cool, but there aren't frogs liek that in SF), so i thought it was kind of cheesey.
I love the spot when you can see alcatraz blurred in the background and coit tower in the begining.
