I recently got an acoustic guitar and amp from Mars. I noticed when playing on the amp for a while now that everytime i strummed a little harder the amp would make a noise. After bringing my guitar and amp to a friends house to jam we figured out that the speaker was broken and it wasn't my acoustic guitar. Anyway i was wondering if I could get it fixed without paying alotta money. How much would it be? Would it be better to buy new amp? The problem is the place i bought it from (Mars) went out of business.
plz help tnx

Did it come with any type of manfacturer warrenty? If so, you could check that out. But if you got it used you might be screwed.

Who makes you amp? If its a reputable company, you could probably call them and give them the serial number and if it would be under warrenty or at least close they'll probably fix it for free. The serial number would probably let them know what year it was made. I know fender guitars and some other companies put the year of the their guitars were made some where in the serial number so I'd start there nothing to loose.
