Crafter guitar
I thought about buying a new acoustic guitar of Crafter. Does anyone have experience with this brand?
They're definitely not top, but I don't really fancy paying more than 700$. So I think the choice might be sensible.

I've never played a Crafter, so I cant tell you if its a good brand or not. I'm going to recommend some great brands in your budget, such as Larrivee, Breedlove (Atlas Series) and Alvarez. The guitar looks amazing, but it depends on the sound. The greatest tone woods in the world can be ruined by an unexperienced luthier.Kahn wrote:looks good man. A lefty huh?

I have to agree with kahn and andre...pony up another $300, and play top of the line guitars. (Larrivee.)

I'd also recommend Larrivee. I don't know what prices are like in Switzerland but I know that in the US you can get one for around $700. If you were interested in buying from the US I would recommend http://www.guitaradoptions.com as they seem to have the best prices on larrivee's. I have two Larri's and they're great guitars.borocks wrote:I thought about buying a new acoustic guitar of Crafter. Does anyone have experience with this brand?

EDIT: I looked at that crafter and for $700 you aren't going to be able to get a Larri that has a pickup and cutaway, but I think you would be getting solid wood throughout.

I own a Crafter...D-6 I believe (it's a $300 dreadnaught)
Good sound for the price, but not nearly as playable as some other guitars. Not bad, but my new $500 Takamine Eg544 is worlds better. The sound out of that thing is amazing compared to my Crafter.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.
Hey man, I have a crafter, and I love it. Although I do agree with most of the guys here that Larrive's are amazing guitars. My crafter cost me $1000 can. but I felt I was getting a good guitar in terms of features (solid rosewood back/sides, abalone inlay with a pickup & case). It has a really nice sound to it and plays very well. I've also played several larrives and they play & sound amazing.
It's a tough decision, the best scenario would be to play them side by side and then decide.
Good luck.
