martin dcx1e or taylor 214e.... i like both and i just cant decide which 1...i went to the guitar shop to get the 214 but than saw the martin and played it plugged in and it was hot shit. so i left and have been contemplating my decision.... any feedback would be appreciated

Well i don't have too much guitar knowledge but i will say that for years i've tried to love martins cause dave used to play them. I don't like the thickness of the fret boards or the wood, then a couple of weeks ago i played a few taylors and it was exactly what i thought a high quality crafted guitar should sound like. I'd go with the taylor.
