Songs to advance my guitar ability.

Unread post by Elliottman » Thu Sep 08, 2005 2:26 pm

Ok, im at the point in my guitar learning where i feel i need to learn to some picking songs. Now theres a reason why i havent started learning this, i suck at it. And also i find it sooo frustrating and often give up and just start strumming again.

Ive learnt a few things, like OSW intro, sattalite i suppose mmmm that maybe about it. ha ha

Can anyone recommed good songs to start with, pretty esay ones, but are recognisable? I tried Sweet Home Alabama but i gave up, thats how much i suck.

Any ideas? Thanks

Don't give up. I am not even being a smartass. Stick with it. You'll get it sooner or later.

It depends on what skills you to want to advance in particular. Name a few and we'll have a better idea as to what songs might be useful.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
