Lakewood! (otherwise spend $3000 more on a Taylor!)

to tell you the truth no. but why spend so much on a taylor when you can get the same/better guitar for less money? do you want to pay for the name on your headstock?

I don't... but I'm sure some people will... otherwise they couldn't charge that much right? Supply and Demand...

its like buying a gibson. yes, it is a great guitar. however, you can find much better for the money (ie: godin). why pay more than you have to for an awesome guitar?

Maybe because Lakewoods aren't as easy to come buy. For instance, there's a place about and a half away from me that is an authorized Lakewood dealer; but they sold the only one they had and another one is expected in June. And that Shoreline music thing; sure I could test one out from there, but if I didn't like it, that would suck because then I have to through the hassle of returning it and all that bullshit.

Didnt think so. How in the world can you reccommend a guitar to someone when youve never even played one? Even bigger question, why would you drop that kind of cash without ever playing one? I'm sure its a great guitar, but just cause Dave Matthews uses it, that doesnt mean its better than a martin or taylor. I dunno, something just annoys me when people are all like "buy this or buy that" when they have absolutely no experience with the product..........but im sure Lakewood loves you.

lol listen, it may be a risk, but i dont have the money for the taylor i would want. if i dont like it i can send it back no questions asked. full refund, dont even have to pay for shipping. im not gonna debate the subject anymore. i just dont recommend spending so much when you can find a guitar that could very well be better for $2000 less.
