Hey
I'm just curious, any of you have a regular gig or played at a few venues on occasion?
What were the size or type of venues? More importantly, what sort of responses or lack of did you get? Funny stories?
I might starting gigging pretty soon so I was just wondering...
i wasn't sure where to put this post
peace

I played at a place....coffe shop/bar kinda place....
me and two guys played LIOG WWYS and Crash...it was cool because we got lots of applause for LIOG and WWYS...but they really screamed at the end of crash...so I would play Crash even though it's boring to most DMB fans(I love it)....there was about 40-50 there....I was supposed to sing, but chickened out at the end(maybe that was a good thing).....anyway, I had fun after I stopped shitting bricks....

I used to play once/twice a month at 3 local bars. The crowds were anywhere from 25 people to 200 people. My buddy actually has the gig but always invites me to play w/ him. We used to play a killer # 41, I would do the real intro while he would play the chords. Then I would whip outthe LS outro. PLayed a few Dave songs, John Mayer & Howie day.
Hes got a fantastic lead guitar player so I don't play that much anymore. I am trying to work on the Tim parts for Jimi thing...(btw does anybody have his parts?-make my life much easier) Hopefully I can play that with him soon.
Don't have any stories except we always get girls dancing on the bar.

I have a regular gig, I play in my dorm room everyday to myself, does that count. Nevermind, probably not, I do want to play out though, someday.
