Sliding...

When a song says to slide to another note, I.E. What would you say, like on the beginning, 3/5 do you pick the 3, then slide to the 5th and then pick the 5th too or just slide without hittin the 5th after you've already slid? And I'm wondering if this is so on all songs/sliding technique

Well there are different kinds of slides, but usually you just pluck (for WWYS) the 3 and immediatley start your slide and don't hit it again...you sound have enough volume from the first pluck to quickly slide it and get both notes...hope that helps :)
