This is going to sound like a really stupid question but I decided to try out a new brand of guitar strings, so I picked up a pack of "D'Addario Great American Bronze Guitar Strings." The package is red, white, and blue with stars above a huge "85 * 15" on the center. At the bottom it says "EZ910 Light". Inside, the strings are wrapped in a plastic package with a "Ball End Color Code Char" because the little circles on the end of the strings each have their own color. Nowhere on here does it say if they are for electric or accoustic guitar! Can someone help me out if they know these brand of strings or if they know specifically these strings? Thanks

Yep I guess they're accoustic. Thanks for the help. You would think that they would write accoustic on it somewhere but oh well.

haha, this reminds me. once i asked for strings at a place. the guy said what kind. i said acoutic six-string. i got home and realized they were acoustic BASS six-string.
brought em back. and exchanged for "regular guitar"
got home, opened em. they were six string, but electric. haha
brought em back
got the right ones. (this was my first string-buying attempt way back in the day, i'm not so stupid now, haha)

They are indeed acoustic. They are the exact strings that I use on my Chet.

It's been my experience that a lot of guys that work in music stores could just as easily be selling large appliances or sacking groceries.

youve got two types, the people who dont know a god damn thing. then the guys who think they know everything and that they are the best guitarists ever. there is only one shop i go to around here for that reason, the guys at the place i go are cool guys who fall into neither category.
