Stream, Hopeful heresy and Radar contact.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

what are some easy tim to play thats in those luther college books? i got those and i wanna learn some of the easier stuff to play around with my friends
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

The only solo Tim song on the Luther College album was "Stream" everything else is just him comping with Dave, though Tim's solo on Typical Situation I think is one of the better guitar solos ever.
To answer your question, I wouldn't concern myself with picking a song that's easy. Pick one you really like to listen to, and try to play that. It'll make you better in the long run.
That song is called Turn It Into Drugs...
