Acoustic songs/riffs

Unread post by guitardmb » Tue Feb 15, 2005 7:33 pm

I play mainly acoustic guitar and I'm really unsatisfied with the stuff I know cause most of it isnt complicated at all. Can I get some suggestions of some fairly complicated songs or riffs i could learn.

Classical Gas is somewhat of a challenge. I find that song not too difficult but I dont think I do it the real way.

he plays this tuned a whole step down. but i just play it standard like this. there is a program called transcribe that lets you speed the audio up 2 semitones so it sounds like its in standard. if you need a *cough* crack *cough* for it, let me know....

the tab looks good to me. if your refering to the 13 part, thats what you play. your hand position for that part is 13xx15. the 1 on the B string is hard to get. also, listen to the song first to get the rhythm and strumming pattern (in my last post, the song name is a link)

Learn some John Mayer
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I know a crap load of John Mayer.

And the tab is hard to read because of the overlapping lines. Am I the only one that is getting that on the screen?
