im performing tonight

Unread post by DMBFreak84 » Thu Mar 20, 2003 8:31 am

theres an open mic night tonight, and im debating what i should play.im open to suggestions, but mind you, i wont be singing, so im thinking about playing stream, but im not quite sure yet. and i have this cool little outro kinda thing going, i go from stream into leave me praying. and im including the zepplin melody for stream as well. i think that will be enough to show off tonight, but again, any suggestions are welcome

thanks...

well I'm shure it will be fun...

just make sure that you play something that impresses (i.e. stream)...in other words, Tim wouldn't make a living if he didn't sing and played the three chords in All Along The Watchtower you know what I mean??? I'm shure it will go well

good luck

thanks,
i have performed stream for small groups of people and i swear their eyes were like this:  they were so impressed and didnt know how awesome i am at guitar. and youre right, he wouldnt make a living if he played three chord songs, but then again, he can pull off some amazing shit, using effects

thats what im going for, but unfortunately, i dont have a delay pedal, so im gonna screw around with it and just play some stuff where the delay is on. like right before he goes to cocaine fury and in between the cocaine fury parts. i love it, playing it on a 12string sounds so awesome, its gonna impress people even more than it would on a 6string

yes they are. i was impressed when i first picked up my 12string. the main reason i bought it was to play stream, and jtr, now i play pretty much everything on the 12er, its so freakin awesome.

its ok, i mean, everyone has their favorite guitars. this 12 string has lasted quite a long time. i think its time to change the strings though, ive had the guitar for like 2 years. the strings are still in really good condition though. its probably because i take really good care of it. i do play it like everyday though. and i beat the crap outta the strings when playing stream, im surprised the strings havent snapped on me yet. i think i have martin strings on it.... cant remember
