Can anyone put a video up of Good Riddance?... I would just like to "see" the strumming pattern.

is this a joke? if your new at guitar im sorry to be offensive, but if you've been playing for any longer than about 2 weeks this song should be no problem. its very simple, repetitive. and you can hear exactly whats being played in the orginal.

sorry if that was asslike

I guarantee you there is nobody on this site that plays it the exact same way as somebody else.

I've been playing for almost a year and I have a life so I don't pick it up every second of my life. All I asked for was a video instead I get all these "Oh my god that's such an easy song"... alright I realize that and I realize you've been playing guitar for decades more than me, so why don't we chill with all the negative feedback??

Practice.

I don't have a clip. It's not too tough to learn.
There are plenty of songs I play incorrectly or just poorly, that's why I write my own shit LOL. Don't feel bad for wanting a clip, we're all different and at different levels.

peace,

C

I used to play it because I heard it so much. But, Honestly I was playing my version of it or at leats what i thought it sounded like. There are way too many wrong tabs out there, so I made up my own. Unfortunatley, i haven't played that song in 3 years so I forget it all. But, tonight I should have some time to record if you are still interested.

well i would make a vid for you if i had the ability to, but i dont have a video camera that i can put on the cpu. if nobody plays it exactly the same you shuold have no problem coming up with your own version that sounds fine.

I've been playing for a year, too, and I've never, not once, used a video to help me learn a song. And I also don't play every day. That doesn't give me an excuse to not try to learn the song on my own.

And I'm not trying to say that that makes me, or anyone else, better than you, or whatever excuse or comeback your'e going to throw back at us.

The song goes like this:
Verse: G-C-D
Bridge: Em-D-C-G-Em-G-C-D
Chorus: Em-G-Em-G-Em-D-G

You know what the song sounds like. Learn it. Without video. Hell, with out audio. Just play the song until you get it. It's not a hard song, I don't care if you've been playing for 1 week.

Stop trying to have everything spoon-fed to you, people. You'll never get better if everyone else is doing all the hard work for you.

I'm sorry to be harsh, but the people you're asking for clips have lives also.

watch the video on http://launch.yahoo.com

and that should be a Cadd9 up there instead of C and i personally think that the Em is a Em7 though in the music video he is just playing Em.

yeah the video is everywhere, just google search it, you can probably get it off launch ^ , mtv, vh1, or kazaa, ares, etc..

sorry if we're making negative comments but you gotta at least search for it first, this music video is really common.

and i hate this song..

Yeah, probably, I was going from memory. The Cadd9 and Em7 make it even easier to play, if that's possible, so great! You'd never even need to move your ring finger.
