im looking at http://www3.sympatico.ca/g403z/txt/wgeorgia.txt and it has the 1-3-5 chord in part 5. is it just me or is that impossible. when i play smts i play one note at a time and move my hand as needed. i cant make that stretch.
EDIT: doh the song is like any other jm song... hard... very very hard...

its definitely possible. its just like the warehouse chords, and any other dave song that has a 4 fret stretch, i usuall crack my knuckles and stretch my fingers a bit before i play anyways, it helps for those chord stretches and helps build up a stretch for the next time you play

1-3-5 isn't the easiest stretch, but it's not the toughtest either. Just keep plugging away at it. :-)

just continuing off the post, i can get everything down with a little bit of practice except this part (part 2)

Code: Select all

e--------------------------------------- -------------------------------------
b--------------------------------------- -------------------------------------
g-----4-----2p0------2p0----2-----2h4--- -----4----2p0-2----2p0----2-----2h4--
d-----2-----2---2----2p-----2--2--2----- -----2----2p0-2----2p0----2--2--2----
a---3-----3--------3------3------------- ---3----3--------3------3------------
e--------------------------------------- -------------------------------------
if anyone could help me with this id be extremely greatful... also if anyone has advice (other than practice (i mean actual exercises)) then thatd be awesome.
edit: crap that sucks how it goes over like that, hopefully you know the song anyway :)
