Loving Wings, easy tune to play and the words are fitting.

Something - Beatles
How Sweet it is to be Loved by You - James Taylor
Fuck Her Gently - Tenacious D (hee hee hee! Just kidding.)
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I like Loving Wings. I never tried to play and sing at the same time, but it sounds like it would be hard to do both simultaneously...

It's not overly difficult to sing and play, there's only one riff and the lyrics flow with it perfectly.

loving wings> lie in our graves jam
(i can give you OPEN chords that play those little two note ditties that are that jam, they sound REALLY pretty strummed and finger picked to make the jam sound MUCH more full on solo acoustic, go from the dave-played jam into the chords its great, played it at a picnic thing once)

I used to do weddings quite a bit. Where Are You Going and Crash into Me are popular.

Are you playing during the ceremony, just like one song, or are you the entertainment at the reception?

since this is general guitar section i'm assuming you're not only looking for Dave material....good EASY songs to sing and play are Howie Day's 'Madrigals' and 'Collide'....the bridesmaids will melt if you play either one of those.... 8)
