Those trips in the Justin King video?

Unread post by Kevin » Thu Jan 13, 2005 10:53 pm

Hey guys...I don't post much, but I love reading some of the threads here. Anyways, I have a question about the Justin King song (I believe it's called Phunkified?) played in the Larrivee video seen at http://www.justinking.com. It's a wicked song, but I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what exactly he's doing with his right hand on those crazy triplets? Just so you know which I'm talking about, he goes nuts with them at about 1:16 in the video. I'm a bassist > guitarist, so most of the song comes easily, however that one technique baffles me lol. So, anyone who can shed some light on what his right hand pattern/technique is, I'd really appreciate it :D

Hey thanks man :) Figures a Tim-man answers that question; I nearly posted this over at TR boards, but didn't think it fit anywhere ;) Thanks again!
